Sorry for the delay, but we are home safe and sound.  There was nothing on the curbside on Tuesday morning, and this was Tuesday afternoon, all the trash, frames, glass windows, everything from around the church!

This sticker was in the nursery section of the church we were rebuilding.  You can't see it too well in this picture but it is right at the water line on the window.  It gave you goosebumps when discovered!

A Powerful Sunday

Today was a light day of work but a heavy day of worship! We were able to sleep in today because of church being at 1030. Therefore, our head elder (Bob Fuerstenau) had a great idea of having a bible study during breakfast and then going to worship. Pastor Steve and Pastor Glick worked together on the book of Job. We had a study for a while and then we started talking about the experiences we have been having with people in the community. What a way to start the morning with testimonies and heartfelt stories of service! We then left for church which is taking place at a Sleep Inn. We had fellowship time with members for a half an hour and then we started worship. Worship was like any other worship as we sang songs, but when Pastor Travis started his sermon and dug deep into the feelings of the people, it was powerful. As I looked around our group, there was a lot of watery eyes and contemplative postures. It was a time where God was at work through His Word and it was powerful. We then hit a buffet for lunch and headed back to the church for an afternoon of work. We all stayed at the church with a couple of exceptions of people who went with Tiffany to her aunts house to help with some things. We then ate dinner together and solidified relationships among the team even more! Tomorrow we look to put the last boards up on the church and get out into the community as we once again help restore and rebuild the lives in Minot. Prayers are needed for the people of Minot as they are hurting in this trial and for the team as we get to witness the hurt and respond in a Christ like manner. Talk to you tomorrow! Peace!
