It is our desire at St. Paul Lutheran Church and School to share the love of Jesus in our community.
A variety of programs and events are offered where our members can become involved in community outreach.
Blessings in a Backpack
Weekly, during the school year, members and friends gather at a local public elementary school and pack food in backpacks for needy children so that they will have food to eat on the weekends. This is done during the school day and students in that school assist with the packing of the food.
We also include flyers in the backpacks inviting the students and their families to be our guests at special events held on the campus of St. Paul Lutheran.
St. Paul Lutheran partners with Boca Helping Hands which is a non-profit outreach program to the homeless and needy in our community
Member are offered opportunities to put on a hard-hat and help build homes for needy families in our community through Habitat for Humanity.
Residents from our community are invited to attend a course regarding how to better manage money. This 13 week course is taught from a Biblical perspective and offers a simple, practical plan for proper stewardship of the gifts God has given to us.
Local Resturants and individuals compete in our annual Chili Cook-off held on the campus of St. Paul Lutheran Church and School. The members are encouraged to invite neighbors and friends to this community wide event.
Welcome of Guests from our Worship
When we receive a "Guest Registration" form, cookies are delivered to the homes of those first time guests from our community who have worshipped with us. Members from St. Paul Lutheran volunteer to make "home-made" cookies while others volunteer to deliver the cookies.
