Celebrating and Honoring American Heroes serving in our community and abroad on the 10th Anniversary of September 11, 2001.
St. Paul Lutheran is partnering with civic leaders and the Greater Boca Raton community to sponsor this event, which will support Boca Helping Hands and community youth.
Date & Time:
Sunday, September 11, 2011, from 12 noon – 4pm
Program
Free Food, Live music, Fun for all ages, Color Guard, Pledge of Allegiance, National Anthem, appreciation ceremonies and special guests begin at 12:10pm
Place:
St. Paul Lutheran Church & School
701 West Palmetto Park Road - Boca Raton, FL
East of I-95, on north side of Palmetto Park Road (west of Dixie Hwy)
Highlights:
Planned activities include:
- Appreciation ceremonies to honor local police and fire personnel, members of the US Armed Forces, hospital and civic leaders.
- Special guests including Congressman Allen West, Boca Raton Mayor Susan Whelchel and Deputy Mayor Susan Haynie
- Live music
- Free food & refreshments
- Children’s activities
- Craft fair
- Blood Mobile
- Message tent to send encouragement and thanks for members of the US Armed Forces serving at home and abroad
Freewill donations will benefit Boca Helping Hands and Community Youth.
