  • High School Mission Trip 2018

    The Details

Join high school students from around central, southern and northern Florida to make an impact in a community devastated from last years hurricane Irma. We will be spending a week staying in hotel style rooms, enjoying hot meals and sweating for the Lord!

All work and no play... makes for not much fun. Luckily at this mission trip we will be staying across the street from the beach, which will provide hours of entertainment for us after a long day work.

The best part of any mission trip is growing closer to Christ. We will be serving and having fun with our community, but the most important part is connecting with God. This week of missions will provide opportunities for participants to grow deeper in their faith.

Youth Nights

Every Sunday Night at 7:00 pm in the youth room.

There's nothing quite like a campfire. The joy and friendships which are built around the hours spent together just enjoying each other's company. That's the type of community we enjoy during youth nights. A time set aside for High School students to come around God's Word and enjoy the present of each other's presence.

Each Youth Group typically consists of three intentional areas; hang-out, study and connect. The first 30 minutes are for students to catch up, hang out, enjoy a carbonated beverage, and snack. The next 30 minutes are dedicated to worship and Bible Study, while the last 30 minutes are designed for students to connect with the study in small groups.

Everyone is welcome to join our youth nights. If you're an adult interested in volunteering, contact Jeremiah.

Every Summer

Every summer students participate on mission trips which make memories that will last a lifetime, and an impact which will resound through eternity.

Our student ministry rotates through a three year cycle of mission trips. We participate in the National Youth Gathering through the Lutheran Church - Missouri Synod, Bethesda Lutheran Community's sleep away camp with adults who have special needs at Lutheran Valley Retreat in Woodland Park, Colorado, and a local Florida Mission project.
